Faye Kollig

PhD Student of Information Science at CU Boulder

I am a first year PhD student in the Information Science department at CU Boulder, working in the Internet Rules lab as an advisee of Dr. Casey Fiesler. My current research interests include the experiences of creators and members of online communities, especially those related to neurodivergence and queer identities.

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2022 with a degree in Media & Information, where I worked on research projects related to cybersecurity, usage of personal tracking technology, online social support, and how users understand inferences that can be made from their data. I'm passionate about mental wellness, civil rights, reproductive freedom, and espresso drinks.
